Project Intro
The goal of this setup is to create a bold, playful beauty light that works for both campaigns and editorials. Let’s dive in!

STEP 1
- Rig an 8×8 frame overhead with Bleached Muslin as the “ceiling.”
- Place two Profoto ProHeads with Zoom Reflectors on the left and right.
- Aim both into the muslin to bounce a soft overall base light.
- Start at power 6.0 and fine-tune to taste.

STEP 2
- Mount two Profoto Small White umbrellas at equal height, aimed at the backdrop for even coverage.
- Place black polyboards behind each umbrella to block spill into the set.
- Start at power 5.0 and adjust until you achieve a soft fall-off.

STEP 3
- Mount a Profoto Zoom Spot aimed at the model’s face.
- Use different gobo inlays to craft shapes and highlight the makeup—experiment until it feels good for you!
- Add a black polyboard on the model’s left for contrast and a white polyboard on the other side for fill.
- Start at powe 5.0 and adjust to taste.
- Camera settings: 1/160, f9, ISO 160.
