Project Intro
The goal of this setup is to craft a soft, consistent base light that works across lookbook, fashion and editorial work. Let’s jump in!

STEP 1
- Rig a 12x12 frame overhead with Ultrabounce as the “ceiling”.
- Add an 8x8 frame with Grid Cloth on the right side (see the 3D render). Lamps to be added later
- Hang the Grid Cloth from a rod/crossbar on a High Roller and clamp it.
- Purpose: combine ceiling bounce with side fill for a smooth, even base.

STEP 2
- Bring in the key light and adjust that first: Profoto 5" Octabox at camera-right, angled ~45° toward the model.
- Use it as a soft, directional key.
- Start at power 7.0; adjust to your needs.

STEP 3
- Mount a Profoto ProHead with Zoom Reflector on the set’s left.
- Aim it up into the Ultrabounce “ceiling” to add bounced fill.
- Use a small black flag to block any direct spill onto the model.
- Start at power 5.0 and adjust to balance the shadows.

STEP 4
- Mount a second Profoto ProHead with Zoom Reflector.
- Aim it at a white wall (or white polyboards) to bounce soft fill back into the set.
- Start at power 3.0 and adjust to taste.

STEP 5
- Place a Profoto ProHead with Zoom Reflector behind the 8×8 Grid Cloth, aiming through it to further soften the overall wash.
- Start at power 3.0 and adjust to taste.
- Camera settings: 1/160 s, ƒ/7.1, ISO 160.
