Project Intro
The goal of this setup is to create a high-contrast fashion light that works especially well in editorial and campaign photography.

STEP 1
- Start by setting up the three lights in the back as shown in the 3D render.
- Mount a Profoto White Umbrella on a ProHead high above and directly behind the model, tilted forward (away from the backdrop) for a shoulder and hair light. Start at Power 5.0.
- To camera-left, just outside the backdrop, place a second Profoto White Umbrella on a ProHead at head height to cast a soft gradient on your backdrop. Start at Power 4.0.
- On camera-right of the backdrop, position a Profoto ProHead with Zoom Reflector aimed at the model’s side and back for extra separation and highlights. Start at Power 4.0.
- Tweak each light to taste.

STEP 2
- This is your key light: mount a Profoto Magnum reflector on a ProHead to the model’s left, adding white diffusion foil for a subtly softened hard light. Start at Power 5.0.
- Place a Profoto 5″ Octa RFI beside the Magnum to fill in shadows. Start at Power 3.0 and tweak as needed.

STEP 3
- Mount a Profoto 2×3 Softbox on camera-right, angled slightly downward to fill in shadows under the chin.
- Start at Power 3.0 and tweak to taste.
- Camera Settings: 1/160 s, f/8, ISO 160.
