Project Intro
Our goal with this setup is to establish a very soft, natural base light, enhanced by subtle accent effects that evoke purity and nature - perfectly tailored for beauty brands.

STEP 1
- Set up a 12×12 frame overhead with bleached muslin fabric, tilted at about 20° as your “ceiling.”
- Mount two Profoto ProHeads with Zoom Reflectors and aim both up at the fabric so the light bounces back for a soft, “cloudy day” wrap.
- Start each at Power 7.0 and tweak to suit your location.

STEP 2
- Mount another Profoto ProHead with Zoom Reflector and place it so it fires through real foliage or a cucoloris to cast leaf-like light patterns on your model(see 3D render)
- Position a black polyboard on the model’s right to deepen contrast.
- Start at Power 5.0 and tweak to taste.

STEP 3
- Mount a Profoto 2×3 Softbox at a low angle to fill in deeper shadows on your model.
- Start at Power 3.0 and tweak to taste.
- Position a Profoto ProHead with Zoom Reflector on your background to add subtle depth behind the scene.
- Start at Power 3.0 and adjust as needed.
- Camera Settings: 1/160 s, f/11, ISO 200.
