Project Intro
The goal of this setup was to create ultra-soft, even light that mimics overcast daylight, perfectly complementing the natural, understated make-up look.
STEP 1
- Set up a 12×12 frame with Bleached Muslin, tilted ~20°, as the “ceiling.”
- Place two Profoto ProHeads with Zoom Reflectors and aim them into the muslin.
- Bounce the light back into the set for an ultra-soft, cloudy-day feel.
- Start both heads at power 7.0 and adjust to your location.
STEP 2
- · Mount a Profoto 2×3″ softbox low and angle it toward the model to fill stronger shadows.
- · Start at power 3.0 and adjust to taste.
- · Place a black polyboard on the model’s right to add contrast and shape.
- · Add a Profoto ProHead with Zoom Reflector aimed at the background to introduce depth.
- · Start at power 3.0 and fine-tune as needed.

The goal of this setup was to create ultra-soft, even light that mimics overcast daylight, perfectly complementing the natural, understated make-up look.

- Set up a 12×12 frame with Bleached Muslin, tilted ~20°, as the “ceiling.”
- Place two Profoto ProHeads with Zoom Reflectors and aim them into the muslin.
- Bounce the light back into the set for an ultra-soft, cloudy-day feel.
- Start both heads at power 7.0 and adjust to your location.
