Project Intro
The original image was shot on the beaches of Cape Town in the late afternoon sun. The goal was to create playful, creative beauty images that highlight the make-up in different ways.
STEP 1
- Bring along some small mirrors from the hardware store
- Simply break them into fragments and have someone hold them around the model, bouncing dappled sunlight onto her face to highlight parts of the makeup.
- The light source in the 3D render is just a placeholder for the real sunlight. You won`t need any extra artificial lighting for this shot
STEP 2
- Have your assistant hold a small white poly board to fill in a bit of deep shadows
- Camera Settings: 1/800 s, f/13, ISO 125 and adjust to your surroundings
